Ask.com, a leading search engine and an operating business of IAC (NASDAQ:IACI), announced that Doug Leeds has been promoted to President, Ask.com U.S. The Company also announced that Tony Gentile has joined the company as Senior Vice President, Product Management, Ask.com U.S.
Leeds has been at Ask Networks since early 2006, holding various senior leadership positions - including most recently as President, Dictionary.com, and COO of Ask Networks. In this new role, Doug will oversee the U.S. business for Ask.com, and lead the development, launch and execution of Ask's U.S. strategy. Prior to joining Ask, Leeds held executive roles at Yahoo! and Vodafone.
Gentile possesses more than twenty years of Internet and software industry experience in all aspects of product management and software development. Gentile was previously Senior Vice President for Product Management at Healthline.com and Founder & President of product consultancy buzzhit!. He previously held senior positions at Knight-Ridder, Ofoto, MyFamily.com, Adobe and PointCast.
Gentile will report to Leeds in his new role at Ask.com.
